Happy colors is a Dominican born and Miami raised music producer and dj. His ingeniously devised style of electronic music is a culmination of influences ranging from moombahton, cumbia, bachata, merengue and dance music.

In a recent interview with Vice’s Thump, he discusses his identity as Happy Colors, his influences from Miami’s electronic dance music community and his passion for creating unexpected hybrids of traditional music mixed with modern electronics. With releases on Diplo’s Mad Decent, Main Course, Man Recordings and Generation Bass, this Discos Peligrosa release is more fuel for the fire which is Happy Colors!

The single “Que Buena Es La Rumba” is undoubtedly another Happy Colors banger which lies somewhere in the middle of twerk, cumbia, happy hardcore and bachata. Ready for the club & ready for the stage.
